Kinesthetic Learning Academy’s Primary Program is a nurturing and welcoming environment which also opens a range of exciting opportunities for learning. Our mission is to make education fun, engaging and exciting, resulting in a positive learning experience and better retention of new concepts taught.
KLPA’s Primary Approach
Through our kinesthetic and inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning, we strive to build upon your child’s knowledge and social and emotional skills by providing them with the abilities to problem solve, be a critical thinker and discover new concepts independently or with others. Using our large gym area, studio room and STEM classroom, we believe in active and experiential learning, whereby students take in and better retain new ideas and information. This unique approach to teaching supports your child’s conceptual understanding of what they are learning, while making the educational process fun and exciting!
Primary Program Curriculum
KLA is committed to delivering a broad, inquiry-based curriculum for grades 1-6, which provides our students with the skills they need to develop into inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are engaged citizens of the world. Our cross-curricular program of athletics, academics and social and emotional development opportunities provide students with a well-rounded and vibrant educational experience.
