New School Year Anxiety

Is the upcoming new school year triggering some anxiety in your child? That’s perfectly normal - and even expected. To help lessen their worry and decrease their anxiety, try gradually bringing back their school year routine at home. Lessen their sugar intake, and make sure they’re getting on a proper sleep schedule. And let them know you’re ready and willing to talk about anything that might be on their mind - whenever they’re ready. Without any pressure, your child will likely open up or simply feel acknowledged - enough that their fear decreases.
